Bettering Intergroup Relations, Stop Pretending
There is a new book coming off of the non-fiction book presses of AakilaRose Publishing which claims that it has quantified how many whites in America are actually racists’ compared to the precise number who are not. The book is only weeks away from going through the final proofs and possibly be ready for sell in a month. The following is an excerpt out of the foreward by none other than The Coach Bill McCartney who founded the Promise Keepers and now heads up the Road to Jerusalem:
During my years of coaching I became sensitive to the pain and struggles of African Americans and other minorities in the U.S. struggling to fit in and be accepted within the American culture which was dominated by those like me. Namely white males. My sensitivity was sharpened largely through the African American football players whom I coached in
Colorado.
Now the Coach is speaking about 20th century stuff mainly while we’re here in the 21st. So the question is: Is there still a problem between groups in general and black and white in particular?
What we have found is that when we posed this question to whites, over 70% stated that there is no problem. When we asked blacks over 70% state that there is. Latinos say that there is more than 70% of the time as well; while Asians are just over 50%. This book, 20th Century American Struggle, 21st Century Hope is claiming to have the solution to the American racial problems.
The bottom line is that we need to eradicate intergroup problems once and for all. Our ancestors from the 19th century carried that mess across the 20th century threshold and dumped it on us and unless we get busy now, it looks like we’re going to be dumping it onto our 21st century descendants. Perhaps you don’t care? Well, I pray to God that enough of us do. Because after living nearly 50 years I am clearly seeing that life is much too too short to be sweating the small insignificant stuff.
The nice thing about this new book is that it coins “psychogenetic” memory to explain how we develop our “psychogenes” from everyone we interact with. These psychogenes are made up of CNDs and SNDs. i.e. Conscious Nuance Data and Subliminal Nuance Data. We function consciously and subconscious off this stuff.
One of the many things that 20th Century American Struggle slaps us with is:
When it comes to human relations, children seem to be much more intelligent. At least until they’re infected by adults with psychoviruses. In fact, if they knew just how lost and destructive to life adults were and if they had an ability to break away and live life without our help, then they would have a better chance of making the world a better place to live—not having the garbage that adults pass on.Can any of us truly doubt this? Why do most of us pretend as if everything is cool between color groups. The Civil Rights movement would never have been if Whites did not remain passive when it came to what was going on socially. We got Osama Ben Ladan and his elk precisely because we have remained passive on international policies. We’re not writing this to pass the buck onto our officials. The founding fathers gave us a lagacy of government by the people, for the people and we usually let it go underutilize for the most part. The blame and the shame is upon our on shoulders.
That’s enough for now. In the end, I really do hope that we can get our act together and bring positive solutions to intergroup issues versus the same old stuff.
